Virginia Buika, artist, creator, and visionary, breathes life into RIHOLÉ, a project that transforms challenges—whether bitter experiences, moments of stagnation, or even betrayals—into sweetness, balance, and a universal message of LOVE among all human beings. Inspired by Ñico Rojas, a grandfather of the boleros and feeling movement, RIHOLÉ stands as a heartfelt tribute to his legacy and the music of the soul he championed.

Although Ñico Rojas was not her personal grandfather, Virginia found his story profoundly moving. His resilience inspired her to preserve the essence of the FlLIN, movement, reimagining its spirit in a new form.

Despite being, musically speaking, an Urban Pop artist, Virginia's journey was not an easy one. As she worked tirelessly to honor Rojas’ legacy, she encountered numerous setbacks. Her efforts were marred by challenges, including a year-long period in which she lost her voice—both literally and metaphorically as a result. This silence symbolized the emotional and professional struggles she faced. Even more disheartening were the betrayals from those around her, individuals more concerned with profiting from the FILIN Project than with upholding its true purpose to give space and voice to Ñico Rojas’ message for humanity, paradoxically: "to love one another and get on well with each other."

Despite these obstacles, Virginia did not allow herself to be defeated. Instead, she found strength in her own music and creativity, drawing inspiration from the legacy of Ñico Rojas. She channeled her pain and feelings of powerlessness into her work, using them as fuel to create something of lasting value.

And this is how RIHOLÉ emerged as a beautiful and the sweetest expression of creativity and resilience. This project became more than just a tribute; it was a reflection of the creative cycles, the perseverance required in the face of adversity, and the power of human connection. The Birth of "FILIN LOVE"

A Recipe for Healing & Connection. Virginia’s journey of transformation was further fuelled by a strong chocolate craving and a pressing question: "How can I bring more love into the world?" She envisioned creating a space where those affected by the toxicity of others could find solace in he most healthy way and where toxic behaviours themselves could lose their grip, allowing healing and transformation to take place.

Driven by this inspiration, she crafted her first organic collection, "FILIN LOVE", guided by the archetype of the Goddess of the Sea, Yemonjá. A symbol of creation, abundance, and nurturing flow, Yemonjá became the muse for chocolate that celebrates resilience, love, and the power of shared humanity. Each bar became more than a treat—it was an experience, a tangible expression of love and connection.

Building on the success of her first collection and first line, Virginia expanded her vision with a brand new Classic Line "FILIN LOVE Infinity". This new creation is a harmonious blend of single-origin Colombian cacao and liquid gold—special Arbequina extra virgin olive oil. The result is a premi um chocolate that is smooth, velvety, and layered with depth, a tribute to authenticity, abundance, and the beauty of life’s unexpected twists.
