RIHOLÉ: A Life Experience Rooted in Love and Legacy

Dear friends and cacao lovers,

In the most uncertain moments, filled with overwhelming changes and great challenges that we all are living at the present moment, amidst catastrophes and conflicts, there lies a profound opportunity to reconnect—with ourselves, with each other, and with the wisdom of the earth—like those we’ve faced over the past four years since the pandemic—I found, quite accidentally, that cacao was not just a refuge, but a profound path toward sharing and cultivating more love.

It became a way to deepen healing, not only from my roots but also from the depths of my being, honouring the legacy of my ancestors. What began as a creative pursuit and a means to express love and abundance transformed into a flavourful spiritual and ancestral journey, full of revelations that I now share with you through my RIHOLÉ.

During this process, I discovered that my ancestors owned cacao plantations, and this awakening within me an indescribable bond with this sacred fruit. Slowly, I began to connect with cacao as if it were speaking to me, showing me pathways to my roots. It taught me about the importance of releasing and letting go of what no longer serves us, always from a place of love.

This journey also led me to discover the figure of Abuelo Maya Efren, a guardian of cacao wisdom from Mexico and a symbol of ancestral knowledge. Through his teachings, I am remembering and learning that cacao is far more than food—it is a sacred medicinal plant and a secret gift passed down through generations. Abuelo Efren often reminds me, “Mi cacao es medicina,” showing me how cacao can be a bridge between the physical and spiritual realms, a tool for healing and connection.

When we take cacao and chocolate consciously, knowing its source, origin, and the care of its guardians, we experience its true potential. Cacao is not just a delicious food or indulgence—it is a powerful supplement and rational energy that nourishes the body, mind,  soul and  emotions. Its transformative power lies in its ability to connect us with the earth, with our emotions, and with one another.

Letting Go and Giving Back

From here, I encourage everyone to release those parts of our ancestral lineage that no longer serve our purpose in this present moment. From a place of love, we let them go, and instead, we center ourselves in our commitment to being vessels of light and love for all those who, with respect, wish to walk a path of betterment—starting with themselves and their surroundings f or th e b enef it tall our humanity.
This is my way of giving back and supporting the message of not just Abuelo Efren, but also my Yaya María, my Yayo  Francisco, el Abuelo Ñico Rojas, y ours and all the grandmothers and grandfathers of the B iocosmos. A message that began to take shape on October 7th at the Teatro Cervantes in Málaga. It is a tapestry of love, woven with blessings for myself, for you, and for all those who wish to open their hearts and embrace this unique and transformative experience.
Thank you for being part of this journey. Thank you for honouring the legacy of cacao with me.
With love and gratitude,
VirginiAbuika
